Barb brought yummy mini thumbprint Christmas cookies for tasting. All agreed they were a success.
Jeanette reported that she had emailed and left a voice mail message for the baker at Big Ring Bakery about attending the meeting but had gotten not response from him as yet. She also reported that she had revised the draft informational brochure based on the comments from the last meeting.However she had not requested a printing quote. She will do that before the next meeting.
At last month's meeting, Stacy indicated that the Celiac Sprue Association had developed a physician education packet and suggested that we look into getting one. Then we could copy it and share it as needed. Upon further investigation she found out that a $70 donation was required to receive one. No one at the meeting was interested in making the required donation.
There was discussion about having the January meeting be a dinner meeting at Alvin's Fine Dining. Barb and Tom have eaten there several times since the last time the group was there and have been pleased with the food and the quality of the service. Barb will check with the restaurant.
