At the June meeting Jeanette distributed several packages of Maggie's "scrumptious chocolate cake mix." Theses were donated to the group by an individual who had ordered one package and recieved more than he needed. When he contacted the company, he was told just to keep the overage. Jeanette accepted several packages of the mix and told him the group would do some product testing. Look for our reviews next month.

Lynn B. brought some chocolate chip cookies she had made from the new Betty Crocker gluten-free mix. They were quite tastey.

The group reviewed a draft document of travel tips that focused primarily on traveling to conferences and/or staying in hotels. Several additions were suggested to the document and in the discussion we discovered that Corn Chex are now gluten-free (in addition to Rice Chex). Look for a travel tips section on the web site in the near future.
