At the June meeting we discussed information received from Basha’s from one of our members. If you haven’t already, you should begin seeing shelf tags identifying gluten-free products as part of their ‘eat smart’ campaign. They also have a 16-page list of gluten-free products they sell as well as a gluten-free weight loss diet program. Click on Basha’s under Where to Shop on this website for the links to these resources.
It was noted that Big Ring Bakery (gluten free) has a booth at the Sunday Farmer’s Market in the parking lot next to City Hall. So those of you who enjoyed Bret’s products at the meeting last month can find them at the Farmer’s Market.
Tom and Barb told us about their experience making sorbet with a Cuisinart ice cream maker. Sounds delicious! Perhaps Tom will bring some to share some time.
