Lynn brought some quinoa-corn muffins to the November meeting for everyone to try as well as a recipe for a gluten-free pie crust that was used in her gluten-free baking class in October. (Both recipes have been added to the recipe section of this site.) She indicated the class went well and in addition to a pie the class also baked biscoti.
Susanna reminded the group, if they buy turkeys for the holidays, to be sure the turkeys are gluten-free. Sometimes the additives that are intended to make the meat more tender contain gluten.
